John Marselle
Chief Executive Officer |
John Marselle is chief executive officer of Robbins-Gioia, LLC, a leading international provider of management consulting services with headquarters in Alexandria, Va. Mr. Marselle has served on Robbins-Gioia’s board of directors since 2004 and was appointed to his current position as CEO in 2006. As the CEO, he is committed to continuing and increasing Robbins-Gioia’s stature as the preeminent authority and provider of management consulting services through growing market share, developing staff, and improving competitiveness.
Before joining Robbins-Gioia, Mr. Marselle had a long and distinguished career with Sun Microsystems. At Sun, he served as the president and chief operating officer of Sun Microsystems Federal, the organization’s government division. He also served as vice president of the Americas, Sun’s largest operating unit, with revenues of approximately $10 billion. Mr. Marselle holds numerous awards for his work with the federal government, including the FOSE, Federal 100, and GovCon awards. He is also very active in philanthropic organizations, serving as chairman of the board of directors for the United Services Organization (USO) of Metropolitan Washington and previously as board member of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Mr. Marselle brings his extensive executive-level management experience in the federal contracting market to Robbins-Gioia’s board of directors. Specifically, his deep understanding and knowledge of how to grow smaller businesses into successful industry leaders helps to guide the company’s board in keeping a focus on balanced, profitable growth.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salisbury University.
