Woody Mewborn

Woody Mewborn is president of Robbins-Gioia Commercial Division, which encompasses Robbins-Gioia’s financial services group; private sector/commercial group addressing the automotive, energy, manufacturing and high-technology industries; and the international group, which delivers R-G solutions to clients around the world. In bringing these groups together, Woody leverages Robbins-Gioia’s vertical knowledge and expertise to strengthen its impact across multiple markets. This strategy positions the company for continued growth and expansion.
Woody brings 37 years of business acumen and leadership in the IT industry to Robbins-Gioia. Before joining Robbins-Gioia, Woody was at Sun Microsystems, Inc., a $13 billion global supplier of network computing solutions, where he was vice president of Sun-Federal sales. At Sun since 1996, his career included positions of increasing responsibility in financial services, strategic programs, and general contracting. Previously, Woody founded and managed Esprit Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia, a change management consultancy with clients in the IT vendor and end-user CIO communities. He began his career at Unisys/Burroughs in 1970.
Woody earned a B.S. in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
