Robbins-Gioia and the Defense Logistics Agency share the same mission—success for the warfighter.
The Defense Logistics Agency is meeting the new realities of our world with a new business model. Changing requirements, such as the global war on terror, base realignment and closure, and U.S. military commitments around the world make it even more challenging to provide logistics support to the warfighter. In focusing on delivering the greatest value in the most efficient and effective way, the DLA Blanket Purchase Agreement is a useful and well-designed response to this challenge. Specifically, the DLA seeks to improve support through business process re-engineering, workforce development, technology transformation, and organizational change to facilitate more effective supply chain management, customer relations, contracting, data management, distribution, warehousing, information technology, and reutilization systems.
Robbins-Gioia can help the DLA achieve its goals. Since 1980, Robbins-Gioia has been perfecting and applying proven management solutions to complex national defense projects. More than 25 percent of its 750 employees are certified Program Management Professionals® from the Project Management Institute®. Robbins-Gioia has a strong presence in all military services throughout the United States, including more than 20 years of lean and continuous process improvement successes in the depot repair environment. Top Robbins-Gioia solutions include project management mentoring and training, portfolio management, program assessments and earned value management.
