IT Access Security

In order to be successful an organization must have information readily available to program managers, project leads, financial analysts, and other decision makers. Ensuring that this information is available and accurate becomes the responsibility of everyone in the organization. However, does everyone in the organization need access to everything? Some would say yes—in order for everyone to work toward the same goal and be responsible for the organization’s success, then everyone needs to be able to access what they need when they need it. Meanwhile, others would say no—employees should only have access to information and data that pertains to the performance of their job.
