Robbins-Gioia Appoints Emory Miller as Senior Vice President for Government Affairs February 3, 2004, Alexandria, VA Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of project management services, announced today the appointment of Emory Miller as Robbins-Gioia’s senior vice president for government affairs. Miller, who most recently served as the General Service Administration’s director of professional development, retired last month after 37 years of distinguished government service. He begins his Robbins-Gioia career on March 1. As well as his 8-year tenure in his directorship, Miller’s public service includes 21 years managing and acquiring federal IT resources and 8 years assessing agencies’ mission critical systems. He also began the CIO University, a virtual consortium of universities offering graduate-level programs addressing executive core competencies, and the Strategic and Tactical Advocates for Results (STAR) program, which teaches cross-discipline strategic leadership to executives.
