Robbins-Gioia Announces Opening of Alabama Offices
February 5, 2007, Alexandria, VA—Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of program management
(PM) consulting solutions, announced today the opening of two offices in Alabama—one in Anniston and one in
Huntsville. A pioneer in program and project management, Robbins-Gioia has managed critical defense-related
projects in Alabama since the mid-1980s. The company began its Alabama operations in its Montgomery office,
providing direct support to many Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base organizations, including the Air Force Standard
Systems Group. Other engagements included the Air Force Regionalization Project, Combat Ammunition System, and
Defense Messaging System.
Over the past 13 years, Robbins-Gioia has provided program management and consulting services to the Anniston
Army Depot (ANAD). The company was selected in 2004 and 2005 as ANAD's community partner of the year.
Robbins-Gioia is also a corporate member of the local Chamber of Commerce and its security-military affairs
committee, as well as co-founder of the Anniston area satellite chapter of the Redstone-Huntsville, Ala.,
chapter of the Association of United States Army. "The new Defense Group South (DGS) office, located in
Anniston, will further support Robbins-Gioia's Army, Navy, and Marine Corps accounts in the Southern region
of the United States," explained Account Manager David Sparrow.
Projects that Robbins-Gioia has managed in Huntsville include support to the PM TOC (Program Manager
Tactical Operation Centers) along with work over the past 10 years for several other organizations located
at Redstone Arsenal. "The Huntsville location is dedicated to supporting the increasing need for program
management services in the Redstone Arsenal-Huntsville area," said Sparrow. "Our partnership approach with
