Robbins-Gioia Appoints Rick Kitchens As Vice President Of Business Development, Dayton Operations

March 18, 2003, Alexandria, VA - Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of project management services, announced today the appointment of Rick Kitchen as vice president of business development for its Dayton operations. Currently, Kitchen is president and CEO of the Greater Dayton IT Alliance (GDITA) until he steps down at the end of this month.

"I learned about the company through GDITA members who are also R-G employees," said Kitchen. "Robbins-Gioia has always impressed me with its emphasis on integrity and customer success. I am really looking forward to being part of this team."

When Kitchen took over GDITA in 2000, it had 2 employees, 50 clients, and an annual budget of $400,000. Today, it has 8 employees, 270 clients, and $1.8 million in annual revenue. Kitchen brought 20 years of previous experience in military technology development to this effort.

"Rick has strong leadership, communications, and program management skills and he is very well respected in the Dayton business community," said Eric Gioia, Robbins-Gioia's executive vice president for business development. "We are eager for him to jump in."
