Robbins-Gioia Awarded Three Contract Renewals with the Defense Logistics Agency
August 28, 2006, Alexandria, VA—Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of program management services,
announced today that it has been awarded renewals of three separate contracts with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
for a value of over $1 million.
The first renewal is for a third option year for $341,000 to provide program management and consulting services to the
Distribution Planning Management System (DPMS) Program Management Office (PMO), Defense Distribution Center, Defense
Logistics Agency, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Robbins-Gioia, which has supported DPMS since October 2002, will
continue to assist with performance metrics and life cycle tasks, managing and updating the plan of action and
milestones (POAM), performing in-progress reviews, and developing integrated schedules and risk management plans.
The second renewal is for $445,958 to provide program management for DLA’s Program Executive Director, Program
Executive Office and the Executive Director, Enterprise Solutions. The Robbins-Gioia team provides support in
life cycle management, development of performance metrics, portfolio management, configuration management,
scheduling, risk management, financial management, and preparation of OMB 300s. The contract has four additional
option years.
The third renewal is for the second option year for $227,000 to assist the DPMS vendor rollout project in
overseeing increased vendor participation, developing performance metrics and life cycle tasks, managing and
updating the POAM, performing in-progress reviews, and building integrated schedules and risk management plans.
